Souvenirs M is a horse with infinite reserves of energy. For this reason, the key in his diet is to select forage so that it does not provide him with extra - otherwise he becomes too hot and burns in the head. In his diet, it is also important to feed him forage that allows him to maintain adequate musculature while not giving him a shot of extra energy - that's when he feels best in body and mind. In the redhead's life, a very important element for him is the post-workout mesquite soup, the serving of which is a daily ritual. As an allergy sufferer, he also needs his daily dose of herbs to keep his respiratory tract clear and keep coughs away - so he doesn't need medication or artificial supplements.
He is an incredibly intelligent horse with a strong character, when you have him on your side being on his back opens up completely new possibilities and gives you the feeling that you can do anything. He loves challenges, jumping, working without a colt and trips to the woods during which he can gallop ahead.
Zuza is in the process of implementing a diet developed by our nutritionist Anna, which covers her Chestnut's basic needs and is arranged taking into account his allergic problems.
Its diet is based on two primary feeds:
Care, playing first fiddle, is a feed for ultrarich horses that is based on high-fiber components, namely Ryegrass and dried alfalfa, positively influencing the intestinal microflora and providing an optimal amount of slow-release energy, thus not causing hyperactivity. This makes it very easy to work with a sensitive horse like Chestnut, additionally taking care of his digestive system.
* It is worth mentioning that the Care feed created by Us contains only approx. 8% starch and sugar combined, and 1 kg of feed is a source of 7.7 MJ of energy.
Turbo Pony (as much as 14.5% protein) supplements Chestnut's diet with the protein it needs to maintain weight and build muscle during training. This feed also contains a relatively low energy level of 8.5 MJ.
Grassland's ward's diet could also not lack for mesquite, which he has daily prepared for afternoon tea as the fourth meal. For variety, he alternately gets Flower Mash and Fruity Mash.
Since Chestnut is allergic and coughs, he receives the herbal respiratory supplement Light Breath daily (along with his basal feed or mash). It makes me feel much better!
*What's more, the proprietary composition of herbs contained in the product further supports immunity by preventing potential infections.
This diet allows Chestnut to stay in shape, and if he runs out of energy Zuza will cover it by adding Linseed Oil.
